GRADES: 4th - 8th grade

Stuff envelopes for PEUYF annual membership drive. Fold letter and insert into envelope along with membership card, pamphlet, and return envelope. Affix address label and stamp. Approximately 250-300 pieces.

TIME FRAME: WINTER

GRADES: JR. HIGH & HIGH SCHOOL

Youth will shovel snow to clear an area of about 5 feet all the way around each hydrant. Youth must come dressed for the weather. Snow shovels will be provided. Just when and how often will depend on the weather. The City will provide a map of hydrants.

TIME FRAME: Fall

GRADES: 3rd Grade & Up

Rake up the leaves in the Eagle Valley Grange Park. Rake leaves onto tarps and drag them to the trailer for loading. Wear gloves. The Grange will provide some rakes, but youth should please bring rakes if they can, especially if there are more than about 6 youth.

TIME FRAME: BEFORE SNOW FLIES

AGES: 10 YEARS AND UP

The City requests a group to sweep the sidewalks of Main Street from Halfway Feed and Seed to the school, including E Record St. as far as City Hall. Sweep gutters and make piles of debris between storm drains for city staff to pick up. Sweep into piles any debris around storm drains. Good project for a large group—MUST have at least 15 participants. Bring gloves and extra push brooms. City will provide some brooms but youth should bring all they can.

TIME FRAME: DEC TO FEB

GRADES: HIGH SCHOOL

Clean school gym, lobby, restrooms and locker rooms after basketball games. Tasks include emptying trashcans, cleaning under bleachers, rolling up bleachers, sweeping gym and lobby and locker rooms, mopping and vacuuming, storing cleaning equipment. Detailed list available. Schedule to be announced.
